A longtime collaborator of the legendary Hermeto Pascoal, Jovino’s music blends energetic grooves, deep harmonies, and inspired improvisation, drawing from Brazil’s rich musical traditions.

From samba and choro to baião and forró, his performances are a journey through rhythm and melody, shaped by decades of global touring and collaborations with jazz greats like Paquito D’Rivera, Bill Frisell, and Airto Moreira.
